Andrew Fettback is a highly accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. His impressive track record of success and outstanding leadership skills earned him the position of Vice President at one of the largest electrical companies in Western Canada.
Having begun his career in 2003 as a pre-apprentice, Andrew had risen through the ranks and has played a pivotal role in the successful completion of several large-scale projects. These include the Saskatoon Civic Operations Centre, the Molson Coors Fraser Valley Brewery, and The Post – a notable redevelopment project of the heritage Canada Post building in downtown Vancouver.
Andrew’s extensive knowledge and expertise have enabled him to oversee the Commercial & Industrial, Tl divisions, as well as Alberta operations. His exceptional performance in these roles has provided him with the requisite experience and skills to cofound his own company, Fettback & Heesterman.
As principal at Fettback & Heesterman, Andrew leverages his vast experience and expertise to focus on operations, pre-construction, and estimating. His exceptional leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to excellence make him a highly sought-after professional in the industry.

Chris Heesterman

Chris Heesterman is a highly accomplished professional with a people-first and passionate approach to project delivery. He has had an illustrious career in the electrical construction industry, including his tenure as Operation Manager at one of Western Canada’s largest electrical contractors.
Chris began his career as an apprentice, and after qualifying as a journeyman electrician, he quickly progressed through the ranks, serving as superintendent and project manager for some of the largest and most high-profile projects in all of Canada. Notable projects include the McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Johnson Street Bridge, both of which played a significant role in Victoria, BC’s rapid growth in population.
Over time, Chris’s knowledge and performance grew, and he was entrusted with overseeing major projects in the Commercial Divisions. Notable among these were The Post, a redevelopment project of the heritage Canada Post building in downtown Vancouver, and the Oakridge Redevelopment project.
Driven by his passion for the industry, Chris went on to co-found Fettback & Heesterman. As Principal, he leverages his vast knowledge and expertise to deliver exceptional results, focusing on project management and operations. His unwavering commitment to excellence and his people-centric approach make him a highly sought-after professional in the industry.

Nicholas Krusel

Nicolas Krusel has more than 21 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He joined the industry in 2001 as a pre-apprentice working his way up through to General Superintendent and then Project Manager.
Over his career in the field of electrical construction, he has been involved in many large-scale utility projects including UBC TRIUMF IAMI, Mount Pleasant Substation, Silverdale Substation, and more.
Now as Operations Manager, Nick oversees numerous utility and industrial projects across Western Canada.

We are proud to have Manny Saran as an integral part of our team. With over 10 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, Manny brings a wealth of knowledge, technical expertise, and leadership to every project he undertakes. His ability to manage and direct teams of experienced electricians on large-scale electrical projects demonstrates his exceptional skills and dedication.
Manny’s journey within our organization is a testament to his hard work and commitment. Having previously served as our Superintendent, Manny’s outstanding performance and leadership qualities earned him a well-deserved promotion to Construction Manager. This role allows him to further leverage his skills in managing complex projects while driving our team’s success.
Throughout his career, Manny has excelled in various roles, including Electrical Apprentice, Charge Hand, and Construction Manager. His diverse background spans multiple organizations. These experiences have honed his ability to tackle complex challenges, ensure high-quality outcomes, and maintain project timelines.

Brent Plante

Brent Plante, our Superintendent, brings over 20 years of experience in the electrical field, guiding our crews to meet project objectives while upholding rigorous safety and quality standards. His background includes extensive work in heavy industrial settings, primarily focused on Oil & Gas, chemical transfer, and bulk loading operations. Throughout his career, he has excelled as a Service Technician, Lead Electrician, Foreman, General Foreman, and Superintendent, consistently demonstrating strong leadership and technical expertise. Specializing in motor control and automation, Brent develops and troubleshoots complex control circuits and has worked on high-voltage (HV) systems in large-scale projects. He contributed to major ventures, including the Trans Canada pipeline, supervised the rebuild of the Lafarge Cement Plant following a catastrophic fire—restoring it in just 23 days—and oversaw the distribution build for The Post and Oakridge Mall.
Through his unwavering commitment to excellence, Brent ensures that every project under his guidance upholds the highest standards of efficiency, reliability, and safety, making him an invaluable asset to our organization’s continued success.

Jesse Pedersen

Jesse Pedersen is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a proven track record of success in the electrical industry. With a background that began as an apprentice and steadily progressed to a Foreman role, Jesse has accumulated extensive hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the field.
Over the years, Jesse excelled in the role of Electrical Design Manager, overseeing and contributing to some of British Columbia’s most prominent projects, including the lead on the Oakridge Redevelopment Project, Cariboo and Dawson’s Creek Hospitals.
As Project Manager at Fettback & Heesterman, Jesse leverages his vast experience and expertise to focus on project management and support our design, pre-construction and estimating teams.

Derek Beer has 10 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. During his career, he has been involved in many large-scale utility projects including YVR Fuel Delivery Project, Oakridge Redevelopment Project, Surrey Bio-Fuel Facility, and more.
As Project Manager, Derek uses his extensive project experience to direct teams of experienced electricians on large scale electrical projects.

Joel Pedersen is a skilled finance professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance major, Economics minor) from the University of the Fraser Valley, complemented by extensive accounting coursework in bookkeeping, M&A, financial, tax, and managerial accounting.
During his employment with F&H, he has served as Controller, helping to build our accounting department from the ground up. His expertise and hands-on approach adds substantial value to Fettback & Heesterman by ensuring accurate financial reporting, informed decision-making, and efficient resource allocation.

On’s proficiency with drafting software, Excel, and budgeting tools ensures seamless project execution from start to finish. Additionally, he maintains clear communication with clients to facilitate informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.

Proficient in Excel and other computer programs, his multidisciplinary expertise and adaptability make him an invaluable asset who consistently adds value to the company.

As our Project Coordinator, Celina Beer applies over a decade of experience in Electrical Technical Assistance, warehousing and inventory control to streamline operations and enhance project efficiency. Her background includes developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), implementing comprehensive reporting systems, and setting up CRM tools.
Prior to joining our team, Celina managed major sales territories and provided technical support for electrical floor heating systems, ensuring smooth communication and reliable product delivery. She has a strong track record of coordinating teams, refining processes, and maintaining efficient workflows. These are core strengths that serve her well in the fast-paced environment of electrical contracting.
Beyond her direct industry involvement, Celina’s commitment to organized leadership is reflected in her volunteer work.

We are proud to have Dan Mittendorff as one of our Chargehands, he brings over 11 years of experience as a Red Seal electrician to our team. His extensive background spans multiple industries, including oil and gas, potash, power generation, mining, and transportation, and he has successfully completed projects across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories.
This individual specializes in power distribution, electrical planning, layout, and gear assembly, as well as a full range of related services—from troubleshooting and system maintenance to designing and constructing electrical rooms. Among his notable achievements are recent projects throughout the Lower Mainland, such as electrical work at the Molson Coors Brewery in Chilliwack, Amazon warehouses, “The Post” building in downtown Vancouver, BC Place stadium, various hospitals, and marine installations like EV chargers on Saam Towage tugboats. He has also contributed his expertise to work on the Skytrain system in Vancouver.
Beyond his technical skill set, our new Chargehand is deeply committed to mentoring junior electricians and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.

Our Chargehand Cody Kimpton is an accomplished Red Seal and Alberta Master Electrician with over fourteen years of experience on prominent and complex commercial and industrial projects. Maintaining a spotless safety record performing work such as HV distribution and large equipment installations, confined spaces, and electrical shutdowns. He has successfully managed teams on projects across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
As a personable, safety-first leader he draws on his supervisory experience from major sites such as Oakridge Park, Kitimat LNG, and Vancouver Shipyards to mentor our newer project supervision. Cody’s expertise adds exceptional value to Fettback Heesterman by ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest technical standards.
