Dave brings more than 30 years of experience in electrical construction to his role as Vice President at F&H. From Ontario, where he completed his apprenticeship and early professional years, to BC, where he continued to grow his career on the management side, Dave is a dynamic leader versed in advanced, highly coordinated projects.

In 2019, Dave was hired as a Project Manager on the Trans Mountain Pipeline project by one of Western Canada’s largest electrical and telecommunications contractors. In 2023, he was promoted to Business Development and Estimating Manager, leading the Estimating, Pre-Construction/Pursuit, and Marketing teams.

Since joining F&H in 2025, Dave has helped translate high-level strategy into practical, day-to-day processes that enable our team to deliver efficiently and to the highest safety standards.

Nicolas Krusel has more than 21 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He joined the industry in 2001 as a pre-apprentice working his way up through to General Superintendent and then Project Manager.

Over his career in the field of electrical construction, he has been involved in many large-scale utility projects including UBC TRIUMF IAMI, Mount Pleasant Substation, Silverdale Substation, and more.

Now as Chief Construction Officer, Nick oversees numerous utility and industrial projects across Western Canada.

We are proud to have Manny Saran as an integral part of our team. With over 10 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, Manny brings a wealth of knowledge, technical expertise, and leadership to every project he undertakes. His ability to manage and direct teams of experienced electricians on large-scale electrical projects demonstrates his exceptional skills and dedication.

Manny’s journey within our organization is a testament to his hard work and commitment. Having previously served as our Superintendent, Manny’s outstanding performance and leadership qualities earned him a well-deserved promotion to Chief Business Officer. This role allows him to further leverage his skills in managing complex projects while driving our team’s success.

Throughout his career, Manny has excelled in various roles, including Electrical Apprentice, Charge Hand, and Construction Manager. His diverse background spans multiple organizations. These experiences have honed his ability to tackle complex challenges, ensure high-quality outcomes, and maintain project timelines.

Brent Plante, our Construction Manager, brings over 20 years of experience in the electrical field, guiding our crews to meet project objectives while upholding rigorous safety and quality standards. His background includes extensive work in heavy industrial settings, primarily focused on Oil & Gas, chemical transfer, and bulk loading operations. Throughout his career, he has excelled as a Service Technician, Lead Electrician, Foreman, General Foreman, and Superintendent, consistently demonstrating strong leadership and technical expertise. Specializing in motor control and automation, Brent develops and troubleshoots complex control circuits and has worked on high-voltage (HV) systems in large-scale projects. He contributed to major ventures, including the Trans Canada pipeline, supervised the rebuild of the Lafarge Cement Plant following a catastrophic fire—restoring it in just 23 days—and oversaw the distribution build for The Post and Oakridge Mall.

Through his unwavering commitment to excellence, Brent ensures that every project under his guidance upholds the highest standards of efficiency, reliability, and safety, making him an invaluable asset to our organization’s continued success.

Jesse Pedersen is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a proven track record of success in the electrical industry. With a background that began as an apprentice and steadily progressed to a Foreman role, Jesse has accumulated extensive hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the field.

Over the years, Jesse excelled in the role of Electrical Design Manager, overseeing and contributing to some of British Columbia’s most prominent projects, including the lead on the Oakridge Redevelopment Project, Cariboo and Dawson’s Creek Hospitals.

As Pre-Construction Manager at Fettback & Heesterman, Jesse leverages his vast experience and expertise to focus on project management and support our design, pre-construction and estimating teams.

Derek Beer has 10 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. During his career, he has been involved in many large-scale utility projects including YVR Fuel Delivery Project, Oakridge Redevelopment Project, Surrey Bio-Fuel Facility, and more.
As Project Operations Manager, Derek uses his extensive project experience to direct teams of experienced electricians on large scale electrical projects.

Ryan Bestwick is a highly skilled and adaptable professional with an extensive background in construction and electrical projects, accentuated by his leadership roles throughout his career.

His tenure as General and Site Foreman demonstrates a proven track record in managing significant projects.

With 19 years of extensive electrical experience across residential, commercial, industrial, and service sectors, Kyle has a proven track record for delivering high-quality work with an unwavering commitment to safety. A highly resourceful problem-solver, he is dedicated to mentoring employees, ensuring top-tier standards on every project.

Kyle’s expertise is showcased through significant contributions to large-scale, high-value projects. He also holds FSR-A certification, further demonstrating his technical expertise and leadership in the field.

Aaron is a Red Seal Electrician with nearly a decade of experience in new construction and commercial and industrial electrical tenant improvement.

With his broad experience and meticulous attention to detail, he is a quick-thinking problem-solver who thrives under pressure. 

Aaron strives to maintain an efficient and positive work environment for both his F&H peers and the entire project team.

Ed is a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive technical design experience on large, complex power and infrastructure projects across a wide range of industries.

He has proven managerial skills in organizing multidisciplinary project teams and executing large, long-duration projects, as well as senior management experience in administrative functions and contract negotiations.

As our Project Coordinator, Celina Beer applies over a decade of experience in Electrical Technical Assistance, warehousing and inventory control to streamline operations and enhance project efficiency. Her background includes developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), implementing comprehensive reporting systems, and setting up CRM tools.

Prior to joining our team, Celina managed major sales territories and provided technical support for electrical floor heating systems, ensuring smooth communication and reliable product delivery. She has a strong track record of coordinating teams, refining processes, and maintaining efficient workflows. These are core strengths that serve her well in the fast-paced environment of electrical contracting.

Beyond her direct industry involvement, Celina’s commitment to organized leadership is reflected in her volunteer work.

Her combination of technical expertise, operational proficiency, and attentive coordination makes her a valuable asset to our electrical contracting projects and client relationships.

Kareena is a Project Coordinator with a strong background in electrical construction and project administration, supporting projects through every stage of the construction lifecycle. With experience in project contract management and documentation, she works closely with project managers, consultants, and field teams to help ensure projects are organized, efficient, and progressing smoothly.

Known for her proactive approach, exceptional communication skills, and willingness to take on new challenges, Kareena thrives in collaborative environments and is committed to her growth and professional development. She values building long-term relationships and is dedicated to delivering quality work, embracing new opportunities, and contributing to the success of both her team and the clients they serve.

Larry leads the team with regard to safety, with a CSO certification and having taken several construction safety courses Larry helps maintain a safe working environment so our team can focus on providing quality work on schedule without sacrificing safety.

Chris is a highly skilled journeyman electrician with a specialized focus on industrial projects. Backed by FSR-B certification and extensive experience in process and control wiring, field engineering, and installations, he brings meticulous attention to detail to every job, ensuring installations meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Joel Pedersen is a skilled finance professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance major, Economics minor) from the University of the Fraser Valley, complemented by extensive accounting coursework in bookkeeping, M&A, financial, tax, and managerial accounting.

During his employment with F&H, he has served as Controller, helping to build our accounting department from the ground up. His expertise and hands-on approach adds substantial value to Fettback & Heesterman by ensuring accurate financial reporting, informed decision-making, and efficient resource allocation.

Leah brings over a decade of experience in the construction industry, with expertise in financial operations, project coordination, and business operations. As Assistant Controller, she plays a key role in F&H’s day-to-day financial operations, overseeing payroll, accounts payable, and supporting both office and field teams to ensure processes run efficiently.

Naturally organized with meticulous attention to detail, Leah collaborates closely with project managers, site crews, vendors, and office staff to maintain accurate financial records and streamline internal processes. Her commitment to accuracy and efficiency supports successful project execution and our continued growth. 

Leah takes pride in delivering dependable financial support and helping create the solid operational foundation that allows projects and teams to succeed.

On Kang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and brings a wealth of experience in building maintenance and electrical construction to his role at Fettback & Heesterman. As Junior Estimator, he expertly manages projects by delivering accurate estimates, budgets, and practical design solutions for clients.

On’s proficiency with drafting software, Excel, and budgeting tools ensures seamless project execution from start to finish. Additionally, he maintains clear communication with clients to facilitate informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.

Alyssa brings almost a decade of experience in the electrical construction industry, with a strong background in estimating and project management. She has contributed to the successful delivery of multi-family, mixed-use, institutional, and commercial projects, supporting every stage from pre-construction and tendering through to project completion.

Recognized for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and great communication skills, Alyssa works closely with clients, consultants, and internal project teams during the pre-construction phase to develop accurate, competitive estimates and identify practical, cost-effective solutions. Her thorough approach to planning and budgeting helps lay the groundwork for successful project delivery.

Driven by accuracy and continuous improvement, Alyssa takes pride in delivering reliable estimates and practical solutions that help clients make informed decisions from the very beginning of a project.

Sam Van Essen holds a Mechatronics diploma from BCIT and applies his industrial maintenance background to power results for Fettback & Heesterman and its clients. In addition to supporting multiple departments and handling tasks that don’t fit neatly within one role, he contributes to key estimates and assists with project coordination tasks.

Proficient in Excel and other computer programs, his multidisciplinary expertise and adaptability make him an invaluable asset who consistently adds value to the company.

Our Chargehand Cody Kimpton is an accomplished Red Seal and Alberta Master Electrician with over fourteen years of experience on prominent and complex commercial and industrial projects. Maintaining a spotless safety record performing work such as HV distribution and large equipment installations, confined spaces, and electrical shutdowns. He has successfully managed teams on projects across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

As a personable, safety-first leader he draws on his supervisory experience from major sites such as Oakridge Park, Kitimat LNG, and Vancouver Shipyards to mentor our newer project supervision.  Cody’s expertise adds exceptional value to Fettback Heesterman by ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest technical standards.

Marcus is a Red Seal and Master Electrician with over 15 years of experience in the electrical field. He holds a Class B FSR specializing in project leadership, management, commissioning, and the design of complex electrical systems. His background spans residential, commercial, and industrial work, including PLC programming, MCC configuration, high-voltage installations, and various commissioning activities.

Marcus successfully led crews on major projects, including the Vancouver Airport Marine Receiving upgrade and the Tree Islands Wire Mesh Machine installation, ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant installations. Known for meticulous planning, strong communication, and hands-on problem-solving, he takes pride in mentoring others and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety on every project.

Levi is a skilled Electrician with expertise in installing control, motor, communication, fire alarm, and instrumentation systems. Driven by an innate desire to learn, he is committed to helping companies achieve their objectives. Levi consistently showcases exceptional workmanship, serving as a catalyst for elevating quality and service levels on job sites and with clients.

Mason Kereszti is a dedicated Red Seal Electrician with extensive experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. He has played a key role in high-profile projects such as the GHA Pier A Unit Substation Replacement and Pauquachin Legacy Space project.

Beyond his core trade work, Mason has demonstrated a deep commitment to community service as a volunteer firefighter with the North Saanich Fire Department since 2021. His background also includes work with the City of Victoria on traffic signal systems and with Belltech Systems on large-scale condo and transit projects. Reliable and adaptable, Mason elevates every project team with a calm presence and a can-do approach.
